ICAR-Central Institute of Coldwater Fisheries Research (CICFR) organized one day training-cum-input distribution programme on “Fish seed stocking and feed management in carp culture” under SCSP on 09 September 2025 at Bhimtal. The training was attended 20 SC farmers engaged in trout farming from village Harinagar in Nanital district of Uttarakhand. The training was designed to enable farmer to learn fish stocking density and feed management practices of carp farms of Uttarakhand. Farmers also got opportunity to learn disease management in carp farming.
At the end of the training programme, certificates along with inputs like carp feed, fish seed, and anti-bird nets were distributed to farmers. It was coordinated by Dr. Renu Jethi, Dr. Neetu Shahi and Mr. Santosh Kumar. Programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Amit Pande, Director, ICAR-CICFR, Bhimtal.
